Lot Essay

Hundt's Aristotelian 'Compendium of Logic' was first published in 1507. The second title is a glossary and dictionary of philosophical terms, ascribed to Bede in the preface but based on Aristotle. The third work is the Aristotelianism of Petrus Hispanus (1210-77), the only Portuguese pope (John XXI) and a remarkable scholar whose fame rests on his writings in philosophy, science and medicine.
