Heraldic Manuscript -- Liber Amicorum of Adam Heinrich von Jordan & Air-Patschau, hereditary squire of Dralin and Wendrin, 1607-34, 4to, manuscipt book of 340 pages, with 5 loose leaves detailing the family history of the first owner and his descendants down to 1718, 178 manuscript entries, 62 of them with a coat-of-arms in watercolour heightened with gilt or in a few cases an emblem, the texts are short devices and mottoes in Latin or German, one in French, written and dated by the owner's friends, all members of the German or Polish nobility (pages fingersoiled and frayed at outer margin, some repairs to tears), contemporary morocco with supralibros of a double-headed eagle (worn).
