The Annunciation, full-page miniature from an illuminated manusript Book of Hours on vellum, [(?)Tours, circa 1490], the Virgin and the Angel dressed in flowing robes of cobbalt-blue and light maroon, standing either side of a lectern, the radiant Dove above, background coloured in green, grey, blue and browns, heightened in gilt, bordered by elaborate post-Gothic columns with 2 inset views of the Visitation, 205 x 130mm.
