Ernest Dagonet (1856 - 1926)
Born at Chalon-Sur-Marne.

Little work is seen by this competent sculptor. The present bronze is an illustration of his rigorous modelling in a realist style. He exhibited at the Salon from 1883 and at the Paris Exhibitions of 1889 and 1900.
