An early 19th century ebonized and gilt bronze mounted bracket clock, with pierced cavetto moulded hood, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, cherub heads to the spandrels, with maker's label PENLINGTON & BATTY, LIVERPOOL & MANCHESTER, the twin train movement striking on a bell -- 21½in. (55cms.) high, to top of handle.
