A Japanese sectional ivory group carving of a fisherman dressed in reeds carrying a fishing basket in one hand and a cormorant in the other, two boys beside him, one standing on a pierced basket, two decoy birds perched before them on rockwork, on an oval base ringed by wooden stumps (cormorant's head broken and re-stuck, damages) -- 6½.in.high, signed Munemitsu.
