A Japanese lacquered wood zushi, with gilt-metal engraved mounts, the double hinged doors opening to reveal a seated giltwood Buddha in dhyanasana on a high tiered throne before a flame mandorla (both arms missing, minor cracks, old wear) -- 14½in.high, 18th century.
