A Japanese silver, enamel and inlaid shaped oval dish with four dragon handles, decorated to the centre with a cartouche with the Takarabune containing a large basket of peony and chrysanthemum beside the open sail, on a river with ducks, a cockatoo perched on a willow branch above and a lantern to one side, on a togidashi ground simulating water and a riverbank, the exterior repousse with open chrysanthemum flowerheads (one handle loose, minor dents, some inlay missing) -- 8½in.wide, signed Shoko or Katsumitsu.
