A Chinese painted pottery figure of an equestrienne rider, the horse standing four square on a rectangular base with head slightly lowered to the left and mouth open, the mane dressed to one side, the female rider seated with one hand extended, her cloak thrown over her shoulders, some details with traces of red and black pigment (some restoration) -- 15in. high, Tang Dynasty.
