A Satsuma jar and domed cover with knop finial and stylised dragon and ring handles, the heads biting the rim, painted and gilt with a panel of ladies and children crossing a bridge before hanging wisteria, the reverse with chrysanthemums and peonies issuing from behind a fence at a riverbank, on a deep green ground of scattered flowerheads and maple leaves -- 6in. high, impressed mark of Kinkozan.
