An American nineteenth century gold Hunter case key-wind jewelled lever pocket watch, the movement signed E. Howard & Co., Boston, with Reed's patent winding barrel, the white enamel dial with repeat signature, Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the case with rope work edging and floral decoration around a central cartouche engraved on one side with a monogram and on the other with a lake side scene.
