A Meissen (Punkt) tea-bowl and saucer, painted in colours with figures of Orientals taking tea, seated on chairs before boiling kettles, birds and insects in the air, the saucer within a quatrefoil cartouche enriched with scrolls in gilt, puce and iron-red on a lustre ground, the exteriors moulded in relief, circa 1760.
