A late Victorian silver-gilt chalice and matching paten, the former on a domed circular foot applied with a sunburst cartouche, the centre decorated with a cross on a red-enamelled ground, the hexagonal stem with a foliate-chased compressed knop applied with cabochon garnets, Thomas Thomason and Co., Birmingham, the chalice 1899, the paten 1901 - height of chalice 7¾in, 16oz. gross.
