This work is a study for the painting La Perspective d'un Parc (R. Schmit, Eugéne Boudin catalogue raisonné, no.490 illustrated) which was part of the decoration executed by Boudin in 1869 for the Château de Bourdainville which was owned by Mr Rosenlecher, Bade Consul. This work is recorded under reference number CL.6955 in the files of Robert Schmit and the authenticity has been confirmed by him.
