THE PROPERTY OF THE LATE NORBERT MAGNUS Alphonse Quizet was an essentially Parisien artist, painting scenes of Paris suburbs most of his life. He was particularly attached to Montmartre and works such as Le Moulin Rouge and Place du Tertre reflect this. Here he met Utrillo and remained friends with him all his life.
