A RED LACQUER AND EGGSHELL GAMES TABLE, designed by Jean Dunand for the S.S. "Normandie", circa 1934, the square top inset with a detachable square panel with central games board in speckled black lacquer inlaid with coquille d'oef particles within a crimson red lacquered border similarly inlaid with coquille d'oeuf, opposed by a burgundy silk lined surface, on stepped collapsible square tapering legs, stamped JEAN DUNAND LAQUER 805--27½in. (70cm.) high, 31½in. (80cm.) square
