A Victorian beaded silver-gilt-mounted ovoid claret jug decorated with a frieze of trailing vines, narrower friezes above and beneath, the mount engraved with ferns and two crests, with a leaf-engraved scroll handle with satyr's mask terminal and flat hinged cover, probably Alexander Macrae, London 1870 - 10¼in.
