A late Victorian beaded silver-mounted vase-shaped clear glass claret jug on a rising foot and with scroll handle and slightly-domed hinged cover with foliate-pierced thumbpiece, the front with presentation inscription, the cover engraved with a crest, W. S., and C. S., Sheffield 1896 - 10¼in, with a 19th Century cut glass ewer enamelled with a vignette of 18th Century style figures surrounded by rococo flowers and scrolling foliage, the handle with traces of gilding, in a later plush-lined oak case with brass cartouche engraved with initials.
