A textured and polished abstract design brooch set with a cultured pearl, the reverse engraved Dearest Anna with my love Daddy; an American St. Christopher pendant with ruby 8 stone border (1 stone deficient), Tiffany & Co.; a 9ct. gold zodiac pendant Leo, with peridot single stone decoration, 14.0 grms. gross; a horn pendant modelled as a clenched fist; a sunburst openwork pendant, the reverse engraved Maiden Maiden 1981; a foliate chased bangle; and a ring, the head modelled from a floral pierced watch-cock, with central cabochon ruby, the reverse engraved, Marie from Peter 1-1-34.

Lot Essay

The brooch and two pendants were given to Anna Massey by her father, Raymond. The horn fist was a gift from Irene Selznick; the bangle was a gift from gaiety girl, Gertie Miller; and the ring belonged to Marie Lohr and was used in a stage production of School For Scandal.
