Cover proof of Amazing Spider-Man No. 16. Prior to producing a print run, the printer would run off a few samples known as proofs for submission to the editor for final approval. These cover proofs usually have better ink coverage than the final printing. They were not usually trimmed as this occured at the end of production. This issue featured Spider-Man battling Daredevil.
