Lot Essay

Arlington was a three-masted wooden Barquentine built by W.H. Genn at Bucksport, Maine, in 1883. Registered at 565 tons, she was 144½ feet in length, with a 34½ foot beam. Owned by J.S. Emery & Co of Boston for all her trading life, she was wrecked in August 1909.
