A Victorian plush and leather-lined oblong brass-bound and inlaid coromandel dressing case fitted with thirteen glass toilet jars and bottles, the silver-gilt lids finely-engraved with arabesques and also engraved with monograms and coronets, with several further fittings including manicure implements with mother-of-pearl handles and an ivory hairbrush and a pair of glove stretchers, the latter non-matching, the dressing case with Bramah lock, the cover inlaid with an elaborate foliate-engraved monogram and coronet, the silver fittings by Charles Rawlings and William Summers, London 1843 - length of dressing case 14in.
