A Danish late 18th Century swing-handled vase-shaped pedestal sugar basin engraved with foliate swags and with two vacant shield-shaped cartouches, Mathias Geertsen, Copenhagen, circa 1790 - 6½in; and a pair of sugar nips with whiplash handles, a quatrefoil foliate pivot and acorn-shaped bowls, one of the latter scratch-engraved with initials, stamped twice with maker's initials only, P.
