A 19th century walnut pipe, the bowl carved with the head of a bearded mythological figure, wearing a diadem, his hair wreathed with vines and bulrushes, the underside inscribed F.W.D., Brussels, 1865, the stem with acanthus collar, with amber mouthpiece -- 8¼in. long.
