Segalman attended Parsons School of Design in New York between 1951 and 1955 and later enrolled in the the Art Students League in the 1960's. Today he is represented in a host of prestigous collections including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C., Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Butler Institute, Youngstown, Ohio.
