A 19th century French ebonised and gilt metal mounted portico clock, the enamel dial with Roman numerals, the four wrythen twist columns with applied foliate ornament, the architectural pediment and base inlaid in foliate cut brass and stained tortoiseshell, the twin train movement striking on a bell, with compensating pendulum -- 20in. high.
