An Arita dish painted in underglaze blue with red, green and black enamels and gilt with three shaped panels of pagodas in rocky river landscapes surrounding a central roundel of chrysanthemums and leaves, all on a ground of further flowers and foliage, the underside with scattered peony sprays -- 7½in. diam, circa 1700.
