A five-piece silver-gilt part spiral-fluted and gadrooned moulded oblong composite late Victorian and Edwardian tea set, comprising: a tea kettle with rising curved spout, polished wood handle and domed hinged cover with oblong wood finial, on a stand with bun feet and beaded and fluted supports, fitted with a burner, Elkington and Co., Birmingham 1903, a teapot with rising curved spout, polished wood scroll handle and fluted domed hinged cover with fluted oval wood finial, with a milk jug with scroll handle and a cream jug with leaf-capped double scroll handle, Heath and Middleton, London 1893, and a lidded sugar box or tea caddy with polished wood finial, Heath and Middleton, London 1906, the tea kettle and the sugar box each engraved with the Prince of Wales's plumes, motto and crown within a garter cartouche, the teapot, milk jug and cream jug each applied with a shield-shaped cartouche enamelled in colours with a flag - 111.25oz. gross.
