An early 19th century oak, mahogany crossbanded and marquetry inlaid longcase clock, the domed enamel dial painted with a figure of a shepherdess and floral spandrels, inscribed J.W. GANTLETT BADMINTON the chapter ring with Roman numerals, with seconds' sweep and date aperture -- 86in. high.
