Double cutaway body, bolt-on maple neck, 21 frets, maple fingerboard, dot inlays, standard tuners, 3 single-coil pickups, white pickguard, vintage style tremolo bridge, 1 rotary volume, 2 rotary tone controls, 5-way pickup selector, chrome hardware. Various inscriptions on the back in black felt pen including Good Luck Noel Redding. Accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt from Manny's Music in New York City, dated July 14, 1970, purchased for $275.60, and letters of authenticity from Noel Redding, Hendrix's road manager Eugene McFadden, who picked up the guitar from Manny's Music and delivered it to Electric Lady Studios for Hendrix. According to Noel Redding, Hendrix played this guitar at the opening party for Electric Lady Studios. With original Fender hardshell case, stenciled J.H. EXP. in white letters on both sides.
