A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Gautama Buddha seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus throne, holding a patra in his left hand, his right hand holding another attribute in varada mudra, the tightly curled hair and usnisa surmounted by a knop finial, and the robes slung over the left shoulder (slight wear) -- 8½.in.high, 17th/18th century; and a gilt-bronze figure of a Bodhisattva seated in lalitasana on a double lotus-petal throne, the right hand in varada mudra, the left in vitarka mudra, the blue-painted hair worn in a high knot and the jewellery inset with turquoise and other stones (re-painted, old wear) -- 7¼in.high, 18th century.
