An autographed manuscript, 177pp., 4to, signed with initials ('J.R. July 5, 1757'), headed: 'Introduction to the Doctrine of Fluxions, the manuscript of the second edition. London, 1757', including copious additions and amendments of the first edition with approximately 74 diagrams inserted in the text written in a neat cursive hand, signed on the verso of the final page, contemporary calf (damaged), Rowe's bookplate.
