A needlework casket, embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads, embellished with seed pearls, the two front doors worked with a raised work King and Queen, the lid depicting Mary at the Sepulchre, the sides and back with figures amongst animals and plants; the inside lined with salmon pink silk with two bottles and a mirror--8in x 11in x 8in., (door locked, lacks key, one foot loose), the top with an eligible inscription in seed pearls, also with "S 166? M", English, circa 1660
