A Victorian four-piece fluted tapering oval tea and coffee service in the George III taste, each bright-cut with vacant shield-shaped cartouches with bows and swags above and beneath, narrow bright-cut foliate friezes above, the teapot and pedestal coffee pot with fluted rising curved spouts, polished wood scroll handles and fluted domed hinged covers with carved wood pineapple finials, the sugar basin with swing handle, probably Thomas Smily, London 1882 - height of coffee pot 10in, 44.25oz. gross.
