An 18th century Dutch Colonial rectangular needlework casket, the sides and domed cover veneered in tortoiseshell and inlaid with parquetry and natural and green stained ivory, with inset glazed panels, the interior with compartments and concealed drawers, the lower section with miniature displays of polychrome ivory flowers, on bracket feet -- 16¾in. (42½cms.) wide.
