Hans Ottomeyer/Peter Pröschel Vergoldete Bronzen, Klinkhardt & Biermann, 1986.

The design of these lights is a closely related variant to the drawing by Prieurs in the Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris. This is reproduced in the Vergoldete Bronzen, Vol. 1. It shows, however, more elaborate ornamentation, the branches being hung with beads.

A pair of similar wall lights, attributed to Thomire, are listed in the 1807 Château de Fontainebleu inventory. Further models may be found at the Cleveland Museum of Art and in the Kunsthandel.
