A German walnut thuyawood and parcel-gilt cabinet-on-stand, the upper part with domed top carved with floral trellis above strapwork and acanthus moulded cornice with arched panelled doors enclosing shelves flanked by pilasters with acanthus headings and panelled crossbanded sides, the stand with bobbin-turned uprights and bun feet joined by an undertier, the upper section mid 18th Century, substantially restored, the stand of a later date -- 53in. (135cm.) wide.
