A Louis Philippe kingwood ormolu-mounted and parquetry bureau plat, the eared brass bordered leather-lined top of unusual outline, one side recessed, the other convex, fitted with three frieze drawers centred by cartouche-shaped lock plate flanked by female mask headed clasps in the manner of Charles Cressent trailing to gilt sabots, two corner mounts stamped A.D. -- 58in. (147cm.) wide.
