This impressive design in a neoclassical style, depicting a woman making an offering to god, is considered to be 'top of the line' of Lalique's statues. Designs of this size required a lengthy and complex cooling process, which lasted as long as twelve hours, in order to prevent fissure. Nevertheless, it is common for such large pieces to suffer from 'stress marks' and other such cooling damage.
