The letter now written by Edward Pomeroy Colley of Farmagh, Dublin, and sent to his sister-in-law Nrs Edith Colley, (lacking envelope) and is understood to have been posted from Queenstown and the contents confirm that it was posted after TITANIC left Southampton becouse he gives a graphic description of the near collision with the 'NEW YORK' as they came out of Southampton. Reference is made to certain passengers -- "our most distinguisted passengers seem to be W T Stead, W W Astor, Chas. M Hays, and E P Colley, Oh & the Countess of something
