S.S.Bellova, 2,671 tons, was built in 1889 by D. 7 W. Herderson & Co., Glasgow and owned by Bell Bros. & Co., Glasgow.
In February, 1899, whilst on a voyage from New York to the River Plate, she was wrecked near Maldonado, Uruguay, about 150 Miles east of Montevideo.
