A fine builders half model of the SS 'Duke of Fife' built for the Dublin and Glasgow Steam Packet Co. by the Ailsa Ship Building Co. Troon. Measurements overall -- 17½ x 76¼in.(44.5 x 194.3cm)
With deck details including anchor with 'D' chains, capstan, steam anchor winch, fairleads and bollards, companionways, deck rails, steam deck winches, hatches, well decks with bollards and cargo loading doors, wheel house with engine room telegraph, ship's wheel and binnacle, wood capped deck rails, single funnel, engine room lights, deck lights, aft steering position, two life boats and ship's boat in davits, bilge keel, propeller and rudder. Finished in white, cream, black and brown, with white decks and silver and gold plated deck fittings. Original mahogany glazed case for wall hanging
