A large Imari charger painted and gilt to the centre with a dragon entwined around a flaming pearl within a border of foliate rimmed panels of long tailed birds perched on the branches of peony trees, all on a ground of flowerheads and geometric patterns, the underside with trailing flower sprays (chip to rim, some gilt rubbing) -- 18in. diam.
