An early 19th century French ivory oval patch box, the lid inset with a red guilloche enamel plaque inscribed JE NE CHANGE QU'EN MOURANT; a Mauchline ware snuff box, with allover decoration of oak leaves, the cover depicting Tam O'Shanter's escape from the witches, with a quotation Ae spring brought off her master hale. But left behind her ain grey tail; a marine ivory and white metal mounted Eastern snuff box; a pair of scissors with yellow metal handles in a shagreen case; an ivory bodkin case; two bronze birds; and an enamel clock dial.
