A pair of Japanese cloisonne tapering vases with everted necks, decorated in silver wire with lappets of ho-o alternating with dragons on goldstone and grey grounds on a mottled brown ground, below bands of insects and flowerheads -- 11¾in.high, fitted wood cases.
