A George III gadrooned and part-fluted moulded oblong three-piece tea service on lion's paw feet, each later-chased with rococo flowers and scrolling foliage and engraved with a crest and motto, the teapot with panelled rising curved spout, ebonised wood bracket handle and later-chased domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, the sugar basin gilt-lined, Digby Scott and Benjamin Smith, London 1809 - height of teapot 6in, 40oz. gross.
