Lot Essay

The text describes the local tithes, such as 'One penny was paid for each sucking colt in the year 1780 and one shilling each since that year. One penny for each stall of bees, one penny for each garden, one penny for each inhabited house as smoke tithe or hearth-penny, and two pence for every communicant.' as well as listing the land-owners, tenants, and values. The text is signed at the end by Thomas Jones.
