A large Japanese album illustrating in black and white and colour examples of paintings on screens variously depicting animals, birds, flowers, trees and foliage in different weather conditions; and a set of four Japanese albums by Katsuja Koisume and Shunco Tsuchioka, each containing coloured reproduction prints of different varieties of birds with two prints allocated to each bird, the first to show their plumage at various stages of maturity and at different times of the year, the second to show them in their natural habitat among plants and leaves, all in presentation boxes.
