A Victorian silver gilt beaded and foliate-decorated shaped oblong miniature freedom casket lined in plush and with detachable plush containers, applied with sinuous dragons and scrolling foliage and also with lion Sejant and shield mounts and standing on leaf and floral-capped lion's paw feet, the rising hinged cover applied with wreaths and with a finial modelled as a hand holding a vessel, one side engraved with a crest with vacant banner cartouche beneath, the other side with the cast armorial, crest and motto of the Salters' Company, J. B. Carrington, London 1889 - 8½in., weight excluding plush containers 33.25oz. gross.
