A William IV three-piece compressed moulded circular tea service on rising bases and with moulded body bands, the upper parts of the bodies chased with flowers and scrolling foliage incorporating vacant cartouches, the teapot with rising curved spout, ebonised wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with button finial, the gilt-lined milk jug and sugar basin with moulded rims and scroll handles, probably Charles Gibson, London 1835 - height of teapot 5¾in, 41.25oz. gross.
